The DirectCool Cabinet System uses a cooling module that is only 8” wide but provides high-density cooling capacity directly to your critical IT hardware.
This row-based cooling module is placed next to or between server cabinets with solid doors to a self-contained, controlled environment for your critical servers. Hot exhaust air is drawn in by a series of five fans at the back of the cabinet. This air is then forced through chilled-water coils to deliver precision cooled air flow directly to the server intake. The patented water-cooled module takes energy savings to a new level with its unique fan system. Five hot-swappable variable speed fans are each independently controlled by sensors at both the supply and return. This ensures that the fans at each level of the cabinet are operating at the most efficient level for the required load.
Control panels with LCD digital readouts provide at a glance monitoring of environmental, power and cooling data. Monitor and/or control fan speed, water temperatures, and rack temperatures. In addition, ports are available for power monitoring, door lock control, water detection, and more.
